Art and Cultural Management
Graduation from Denver University in August of 2024 with a 4.0 GPA!
Obtaining a degree in Art and Culture Management with an emphasis on advocacy and outreach and nonprofit leadership prepared me for entering the arts sector with a foundation in business operations, finance, program creation and evaluation, event management, and fundraising and development strategy.
Alongside my professional experience as a project manager, graphic designer, copywriter, communications specialist, and team leader, this MA acts as an MBA that augmented my existing business acumen for arts and culture organizations.
I have always been passionate about diversity, community and social impact, creative expression, and building culture through it. This degree and transition into the arts culminate in my life’s passion and talent as a business leader and innovative creative.
Below are samples of the projects conducted under my degree that showcase writing, planning, research, and evaluation methods used to generate events, grants, proposals, and case studies.
My final capstone project for graduation developed into combining my knowledge of technology solutions to research the social impacts of public art in Boulder, CO. I am advancing that concept to partner with local community public arts organizations to expand metrics that help measure and generate funding and interest in the ability of the arts to enrich the lives of the community.
